This trek has spectacular views of Abraham Lake, and is located on crown land. Due to this, I’ve stayed overnight on the ridge a few times. It can get very windy and it is vital to note that it is a steep starting climb with severe scrambling throughout the ridge sections, making it difficult virtually the entire way. Beginner hikers are should not to attempt this trek unless they have prior expertise with light scrambling or are ready to learn from those who have.

The trails begin in the woods near regional waste management facilities, and they have been described as difficult to follow at first. For reference, you can follow the route here. Downloading and following the offline instructions might be the play if you’re doing it for the first time.
