The iconic Big Sur road trip will not get old — no matter how many times you drive it. You could do it on a loop and the breathtaking views would not become any less jaw dropping. Hours of rugged mountains and dreamy redwood forests dropping into a dramatic coastline. It can be cloudy in the winter so you’ll want to be cautious of the time of year you’re going. 

Meeting some friends in Los Angeles, we started our road trip down to Big Sur at the beach in Santa Monica at the pier.
