Benefits to open-ended plans: Earlier this month Tyler and I planned a spur of the moment road trip around Vancouver Island. No plan, no destination. With nothing but time, we wandered Mystic Beach in search of a suitable boulder to climb. * Spoiler* we found one!

From the parking lot, you’ll want to walk straight down to the beach, then turn to the left. You’ll walk past the Mystic Beach Swing and come to an immovable object. Fortunately, you have to climb it to see what’s on the other side!
